About the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V ABS
The Apache RTR 160 4V ABS is the carburetted anti-lock version of TVS's 160 four-valve: a 159.7cc oil-cooled single making 16.5 PS at 8000 rpm and 14.8 Nm at 6500 rpm through a five-speed gearbox, claiming 45 kmpl and 114 kmph. Single-channel ABS acts on a 270 mm front disc with a 200 mm rear disc, on a Showa-tuned monoshock and tubeless tyres. Three riding modes and an LED headlight are standard, and it carries 12 litres at 147 kg with 180 mm of ground clearance. It gives up a little power and the injection to the Fi version for a lower price.
